Crayola Gold Medal School Crayons: What's Inside the Box

I was really excited to get this 8 Count Crayola Gold Medal box.  With a little research I found out it was first designed in 1905.  Binney & Smith won a gold medal at the St. Louis world fair in 1904 for their new invention, the An-du-Septic dustless chalk.  The original box was made somewhere around that time.  I am so happy to have this one in my collection. It is interesting that they note on the box that the crayons are permanent and waterproof and "an artist's crayon at scholar's price".
